<p>From the moment I was onboarded at M-Gas, my experience has been fantastic. My plate was already full, but not with things I didn’t know how to handle—rather, with challenges that I could sort out. There’s nothing more fulfilling than walking into a place that needs your input and being able to resolve issues. Although we aren’t there yet, I’m confident that step by step, we’ll reach our target.</p>

<p>M-Gas stands out from other organizations I’ve worked for, primarily because of the large number of employees, many of whom are young and new to the oil and gas industry. This provides me with a great platform to share my knowledge and experience, particularly in using technology to enhance sales in the oil and gas sector, something unique to M-Gas.</p>

<p>My journey in the oil and gas industry began as an engineering supervisor at Shell and BP. Later, I became an LPG Operations Supervisor, a role that sparked my passion for LPG. Over the years, I’ve held various positions at companies like ExxonMobil and Kenol Kobil, where I played a significant role in improving operations and safety, such as reducing losses in LPG transportation and managing health and safety operations.</p>

<p>My transition into Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) was driven by early career training and a passion for safety and quality management. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to set up operations across East, Central, and Southern Africa and lead the transition of quality management systems to ISO 9001:2015 standards.</p>

<h3><strong>My Personal Life Mantra / Guiding Principle</strong></h3>

<p>My guiding principle is “creating my own path and walking in it.” I strive to be the best in whatever I do. The path I’m on now is one I created long ago, and I’m far from reaching its end. With a clear mission and vision, I believe anyone can achieve what they set out to do within a given timeframe. Even when I see others taking different paths and succeeding, I remain committed to my own, which has led me to become a sought-after consultant in the industry.</p>

Despite my academic background in mathematics and economics, I was always drawn to supply chain management, which led me to pursue further studies in supply chain excellence. This education, supported by my employer, gave me a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain management—from supplier relations to warehousing, distribution, and logistics.<br />
As my career advanced, I managed large fleets and distribution networks, gaining valuable experience in logistics and operations before advancing to Warehouse Manager. Transitioning from a global beverages company in FMCG to the oil and gas sector was a significant shift but allowed me to apply my logistics expertise on a larger scale. At M-Gas, I was responsible for creating the logistics arm, developing strategies to align with the company’s goals, and building a team capable of executing these strategies effectively.<br />
The last mile field is rapidly evolving as companies increasingly recognize the importance of logistics in providing exceptional customer service. While last mile logistics is a well-established concept in many developed countries, in regions like Africa, we are transitioning from traditional distribution models to more direct, customer-focused approaches. The future of last mile logistics is promising, with growing opportunities to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.</p>

I joined M-gas in the year 2019, Throughout my time, I’ve had an opportunity to work in various roles.  To start off, Customer Service Agent (2019-2020), Sales Operations Coordinator (2021-2022), Executive Assistant (2022-2023), and currently an Area Sales Manager (2023-Date).  Each role has enriched my experience about the business and also contributed to my 360-Degree understanding of the business as whole, specializing on sales operations and leadership under planning, strategic thinking, people management etc. <br />

All open positions at M-Gas will be posted in our careers page. We also use official M-Gas social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook to share open positions)

M-Gas will not demand any payment for any job placement. All qualified and shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

Our application process is automated, once we receive your application, you will get an email notification showing that your application has been submitted.

Due to the number of applications, we receive each day, we are unable to provide feedback in the initial stages of the application process. If you are among the short-listed candidates, you will receive a notification to schedule for an interview.

All relevant documents required for a job you are applying for will be updated in the job listing. We recommend that you confirm the documents required before you submit your application.

If your job search returns no results, we recommend broadening your search criteria, checking for updates regularly, or exploring opportunities in related fields. Additionally, you may want to revisit the site later as new positions are posted frequently.

You can apply for open job positions that are in line with your skill sets/ qualifications. However, you can not apply for the same position more than one time.

We regularly updated our job openings as soon as an open position arises. Be on the lookout to discover when we post job updates. You can also subscribe to our mailing list to get frequent updates on open positions.

After completing interviews with all shortlisted candidates and conducting reference and background checks, we aim to make a final decision within a few weeks.

Our interview process varies depending on the role. For most positions, shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview, and the selection of successful candidates is made after all interviews have been conducted. Typically, successful candidates are notified a few weeks after the interview process concludes. For technical roles, assessments and multiple interviews may be required prior to final selection.
